Creating spaces built to support an innovative and entirely new way of student-led learning.

Exploring the nature of purposeful settings over highly flexible ones, the Learning Project is the subject of broader research evaluating the role of design in learning environments being undertaken at the University of Melbourne.

Prebuilt Commercial was engaged to undertake a rollout of three state-of-the-art Learning Centres for Caulfield Grammar School. The three prefab steel buildings, located at the three city campus sites of Caulfield, Wheelers Hill and Malvern, were designed by architects Hayball with Project Managers’ Gallagher Jeffs.

The spaces have been built to support an innovative and entirely new way of student-led learning, with an emphasis on high-end IT functionality incorporated into every space.

Offering greater affordability and the potential to be demounted and relocated after the testing phase, the prefabricated modular buildings are bespoke, with a focus on design quality.
