Can I modify a pre-designed home to be custom?
Absolutely, our pre-designed prefab homes are a great starting point and can be modified into a custom solution tailored to your brief. Our architect partners will tweak the design until you are happy with the end result.
What is the average time for a custom modular home to be completed?
Once the building contract is signed, our custom homes will take approximately 14 -16 weeks to complete in our factory.
Are there any differences in the materials used between a custom prefab home and a traditional build?
Our prefabricated homes sit lightly on the earth. We use Mega Anchor footings that are lightweight and touch gently on the earth. This means we reduce the environmental impact to the site by having a smaller footprint than traditional concrete slabs. The materials used to make our footings are non polluting to the environment and require reduced treatment of white ants and termites when compared to building on concrete slabs. The footings we use are removable, reusable and recyclable. Our bases are made from steel with timber infill. This allows for a rigid base that is durable and free from long-term movement, the perfect solution for transportation and craning of our homes into site.
