An extended family home for beachside living was the brief for this large u-shaped dwelling to be used by multiple families.
An existing palm tree provided an axis to the internal planning with views toward the tree from circulation and living areas.
Angled timber cladding was used on the street facade to reference the palm fronds. Bespoke shading blades were included to provide sun control to northern and western glazing.
This home features oversized living spaces flowing onto shaded northern decks for those endless summer days.
