This station building was the eighth project completed as part of the multi billion dollar upgrades by the Victorian Government to remove all level crossings within Victoria.
Rosanna station was unique to our other Level Crossing Removal projects whereby to install the station building, Prebuilt was required to create a solution that would allow for a structural pier to be threaded through the building. This was required as the structural bridge for the train line was installed directly above the prefabricated station buildings. This was also the first modular building to use glass reinforced concrete as a cladding solution.
The building functions as the ticket office, PSO offices, staff meal area, staff amenities area, including male and female toilets, changing rooms, cleaners room, maintenance store and public restrooms.
