The clients vision was achieved by separating the house into two apartments when required, each with its own dedicated entry and discrete outdoor space. The home sits proudly on a prominent corner in the beachside hamlet, boasting sand dune and ocean views through full-height windows.
The rough-sawn articulated hardwood timber cladding anchors the house into its native landscape, giving the house a modern yet robust aesthetic and a commanding street presence. The balcony extends the spacious first floor interior to the outdoors, creating a space for relaxed family meals surrounded by native gardens and the sound of waves crashing in the background.
