Prebuilt was engaged in 2015 by K20 Architecture on behalf of the City of Whittlesea to build and deliver a new Community Sports Pavilion. This stylish modern building was clad in metal and timber finishes and surrounded by a generous decking and access ramps.
Works included preparation of the site and services, the new prefabricated building, new pathways and landscaping and integration into the surrounding community sports facilities.
It was also important for Prebuilt to ensure that access to the existing sporting facilities remained throughout the fabrication of the new prefab building.
The new building consisted of a generous community and social room, meeting rooms, first aid area, commercial kitchen changing and bathroom facilities. To aid in the functionality of the building large furniture and equipment stores were also added accessible from the shaded veranda surrounding the building.
