Prebuilt plays key role in inaugural conference

The inaugural prefabAUS conference was held in Melbourne from August 11-13, bringing together representatives from all areas of prefabricated construction, including architecture, engineering, manufacturing, material supply, property development and construction, as well as universities, government agencies and client representatives.

The conference included a tour of Salesian College, a state-of-the-art 700 square metre, double-storey education facility constructed by Prebuilt and installed in Sunbury. It houses four studios, two staff rooms, a large breakout area and bathroom facilities.

PrefabAUS is the peak body for Australia’s off-site construction industry.
