Freedom in the Foothills

Rob & Genevieve found Prebuilt via the internet and fell in love with the Freedom House. They had recently bought a stunning block of land at the foot of the Grampians and were looking for a contemporary home from which to plan their climbing adventures.

The key objectives for their home was that it

• was contemporary in its design
• had to engage with their stunning site and maximise the 360 degree views 
• had a large lightfilled open plan living area 
• had three bedrooms

"I’d built a house before and had trouble with builders going away and had weather issues. This way (Prebuilt) I got no surprises with the building or the cost and there was no rubbish left around. I went to see the house being built in the factory and I knew exactly what I was getting. I tried to get a traditional builder but a lot of people couldn’t do it for a long time or they weren’t interested. Getting people there was too hard."
