Factory-built Construction
We build undercover in our factory in Victoria and deliver across Australia.

Low embodied energy
Factory built construction offers significant environmental benefits and results in a house with significantly lower embodied energy than those built onsite.
Our centralised plant minimises petrol consumption through both the close proximity of our work force to our factory as well as providing a centralised point for the delivery of building materials. This means that we can order in bulk and minimise the number of deliveries. In traditional building subcontractors are often travelling from far away to site each day and materials are generally delivered in small quantities.
Construction waste almost zero as we design our houses around standard material sizes and lengths and are able to use off-cuts from one house in the next house in the production schedule.
As most of our houses are installed in regional areas and many of our clients live at a significant distance away from their new home sites, our manufacturing process means that the traditional weekly site visits for clients (which can number up to 40 during construction) are negated. With Prebuilt clients usually only visit the factory once during construction again providing significant carbon savings during construction. As most of our houses are one-truck deliveries this further assists in our ability to manage overall petrol consumption and carbon emissions during delivery to site.
Factory built construction also ensures improved worker safety during the construction and installation processes. All our houses are built undercover and our factory has state of the art equipment including cranes and hoists. Site supervisors are always on site monitoring safety procedures.
